Jowa.com Site Policies

When you visit this site, it may store or retrieve information on your browser, mostly in the form of cookies. This information might be about you, your preferences or your device and is mostly used to make the site work as you expect it to.

However, blocking some types of cookies may impact your experience of the site and the services we are able to offer.

What data is collected

If consent is given by visitors on this site the following data will be collected:

  • The duration of your visit, sitewide and on specific pages
  • What pages you visit and what links you use
  • What kind of device you used to visit the site
  • Your geographical location, however not the exact location

What the data is used for

Data being collected serves a single purpose – to improve the experience for visitors on this site. We do not use the data for targeted marketing or for storing personal information about our visitors.

How the data is collected

We measure visitors to our website using Google Analytics, a web service otherwise known as a data processing service.

Data storage procedures

The data that Google Analytics gathers is stored for 26 months.
You can learn more about Google Analytics here (opens up a new tab).

Third party data sharing

Facebook and LinkedIn

These services provide social buttons and similar features which we use on our website – such as the “Like” and “Tweet” buttons.
To do so we embed code that they provide and we do not control ourselves. In order to function their buttons will generally know if you’re logged in; for example, Facebook use this to say “x of your friends like this”. We do not have any access to that information, nor can we control how those networks use it.
Social networks therefore could know that you’re viewing this website, if you use their services (that isn’t to say they do, but their policies may change).
